About the project –

For its anniversary of 25 years, the company wanted to have exclusive content for their SoMe (Youtube channel, Instagram and Facebook) that would add a lifestyle face to their brand and "rejuvenate" the audience.

We came up with an idea to make short films with opinion leaders and influencers of the cultural and artistic field as leading actors. Inspired by the book "Conversations with Picasso" written by Brassaï, in which he creates a picture of the Parisian intellectual scene during the Second World War, with an unexpectedly candid revelation of Picasso's personality and the magazine "Interview" of Andy Warhol time, we decided to make conversations between the acclaimed artists of related fields or opposite views. Visually we wanted to give a sense of fiction films aesthetics, but with genuine emotions, jokes and reactions. All dialogues were original, and no roles were written. It was genuine, true dialogue of two artists.

Content distribution was on the client by his choice. We only implemented the support of the project with the "heroes" in their SoMe. Keeping in mind that it's an alcohol brand that has restrictions in SoMe, it helped to increase the number of views significantly.

Two contemporary writers, different in their styles and wine tastes, meet to talk about books, recognition and censorship, Alexandre Tsipkin, a rebel from Saint-Petersburg and a talented performer who gathers cinema and theatre actors to read his short stories from the stage, and Sasha Filipenko, a Belorussian intellectual author whose novels are translated in several European languages.

It is a strongly flavoured dialogue of talented artists, theatre and cinema director Konstantin Bogomolov, who recently directed several popular TV shows, and multi-award winning composer, performer, and conductor Ilya Demutsky who composes music for opera and ballet which are performed in Bolshoi Theatre, San Francisco Ballet and others.

Kirill Richter, a self-taught pianist and composer, one of the most prominent representatives of minimalism in Russia, and Ivan I. Tverdosvky, an experimental talented film director, meet to explore the ambience of Ivan's latest film, "Jumpman", to create the film score.

Nika award film actress Maria Shalaeva, a miniature woman with strong character, and fashion photographer, “visual art provoker”, Dasha Yastrebova, an enfant terrible of Moscow party life of 2010s, known as "Solyanka" generation, meet for the first time to discuss the peculiarities of artist path for a woman in Russia.

Monica Bellucci of Russian TV shows, actress Maria Shumakova, and Moscow playboy, poet Vasilii Akkerman, celebrate their meeting with a glass of champagne, discussing Internet rumours and the real life.

French actress and TV host Cecile Plaige orders a glass of Italian white wine because it's always the best option when you think that wine choice is rocket science. Fedor Elutin, a theatre impresario of popular immersive shows, prefers red with tannins. White or red? Cinema or theatre? This moment or eternity? French or Russian?
